Vancouver Parent Resources
Are you looking for family-friendly activities or events, opportunities for play, or educational support/resources for your student. Based on family recommendations, we have put together a number of resources available to Hough families.
Vancouver Community Library
The Vancouver Community Library hosts a number of free community events and activities on a weekly basis including story time, citizenship classes, STEM & technology workshops, teen hangouts, adult book groups, English conversation circles, and so much more!

Marshall Community Center
The community center offers a pool, fitness center, dance studio, pottery studio and more. Membership/drop-in fees apply.

Columbia Play Project
Columbia Play Project creates interactive, accessible play experiences that spark curiosity, learning, and connection, strengthening children, families, and communities through joyful, STREAM-rich play. They host free events monthly including indoor community play days, pancake play day, halloween play day, and often appear at local family-friendly festivals in Vancouver. Washington Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI)
The OSPI website provides guidance on educational rights, academic resources, and specialized support programs for students from birth through age 21. You will find resources by subject area, learning standards and instructional materials, testing resources, support programs, and more.
