What is Hough PTSA?

Hough PTSA's mission is to help enrich the lives of Hough Elementary's students and staff by promoting a sense of community and partnership between parents, students, staff, and community members through enrichment programs and events.

Hough PTSA is a 100% volunteer-run, 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that works in partnership with Hough Elementary to enrich the lives of Hough students, staff, and their families.

  • We address the unique needs of our community as parents partnering with staff and community members.

  • We enhance our school by holding fundraisers. Money raised goes toward classroom materials, student enrichment, staff grants, assemblies, and more.

  • We organize and host events and programs, all planned and staffed by PTSA volunteers.

  • We advocate for children on a local, state and national level. A portion of your membership fee helps provide a legislative voice in Olympia and Washington D.C.

With your help, the PTSA helps bring to life a wide variety of events and enrichment programs that we've all come to cherish like... Birthday Celebrations, Winter Wonderland/Gift Shop, Spirit Wear, Scholastic Book Fair, End-of-Year Carnival & BBQ, Staff Appreciation, Mystery Science Classroom Subscriptions, Yearbooks, Mileage Club, Classroom Enrichment Grants, playground/campus cleanups, and so much more!

And if you're not already a member, please join! Being a member comes with zero time commitments, and the more members we have, the more eligible we are for extra help from the state and national PTSA.
